It was after a very serious study on the life, activities and spirituality of Father Kuriakose Elias Chavara, that Archbishop Antonius Petti, the Promoter General of Faith, for the Causes of Saints, Rome, could present Chavara to Pope John Paul II in 1983, as a pearl truly Indian and Oriental, requesting him for the beatification of the Servant of God Chavara. Get together 2008 for the Major Project Holders in the southern region was organized on 24th and 25th of October 2008 at KKID, Coimbatore. CEVA is a development organization which provides coordination services to International development partners and Indian NGOs. CEVA is operating at all India level providing professional services ranging from feasibility studies to evaluations to Indian NGO’s, grass root level organizations and International agencies to create a social environment in which the poor and the marginalized are able to lead a dignified human existence.

Our Focus
CEVA visualises itself as a facilitating agency at the service of International Development Organisations, NGDOs (Non Governmental Development Organisations) / Grassroots level organisations and development initiatives from the rural and urban areas by providing consultancy services to improve the quality of life of the poor.

Projects & Partners
Our main partners in development efforts are International Agencies,, Indian NGO’s & General Department of Social Apostolate of the CMI Congregation. Over the years CEVA has co-ordinated 700 minor and major projects of various International Agencies. Formation and strengthening of People’s organizations, Training Programmes , Literacy & Education, Health & hygiene , Housing and Sanitation, Watershed Management & Drinking water are some of general components of the projects.
