It was after a very serious study on the life, activities and spirituality of Father Kuriakose Elias Chavara, that Archbishop Antonius Petti, the Promoter General of Faith, for the Causes of Saints, Rome, could present Chavara to Pope John Paul II in 1983, as a pearl truly Indian and Oriental, requesting him for the beatification of the Servant of God Chavara. | Our main partners in development efforts are International Agencies,, Indian NGO’s & General Department of Social Apostolate of the CMI Congregation. Over the years CEVA has co-ordinated 700 minor and major projects of various International Agencies. Formation and strengthening of People’s organizations, Training Programmes , Literacy & Education, Health & hygiene , Housing and Sanitation, Watershed Management & Drinking water are some of general components of the projects. |
