General Body
CEVA General Body consists of around 100 dedicated and motivated members from all walks of life. The Prior General [Supreme Head] of the CMI Congregation is the patron of CEVA. The control and management of the affairs and interest of CEVA is vested with the Board of Directors.
The Office
The Head Office of CEVA functions at Kochi, Kerala, under the leadership of Secretary cum Treasurer. The Regional Secretary and the Assistant Regional Secretary guide the day-to-day affairs of CEVA Northern Regional office at Ghaziabad and CEVA Eastern Regional office at Kolkata respectively. A team of experienced and well-qualified professionals who share CEVA’s vision and mission and committed to the cause of development and empowerment of the poor are working in these three offices.
Departments
1.Co-ordination
We have been rendering our expertise in the coordination of projects since 1986, mostly in the field of integrated rural development. Our role as a co-ordinating partner includes identification of capable and committed grass root level NGOs, pre-funding appraisal of project proposals, assistance in monitoring projects during implementation and support in participatory project planning, crises management etc.
2. Evaluation
We have a core team and a network of over 40 professionals, academicians and researchers drawn from all over India belonging to various disciplines. Our evaluation department coordinates the external evaluation on behalf of funding agencies, takes up external evaluation and provides support to NGOs in organizing internal evaluations.
3.Documentation & Publication
CEVA has a full-fledged documentation wing, which has documented the experience it has gained from co-ordinating, evaluating and implementing more than 700 development projects in different parts of India.

4.Consultancy, Research and Development
This wing undertakes research in various subjects related to development, handles the direct implementation of various projects and also assist NGO’s in assessing the needs of the project areas through participatory rural appraisal conducting feasibility studies and formulating proposals to respond to the felt needs of people. Networking with NGOs, Government departments and Media is being done by this department. This wing provides training to grass root level workers at their own operational area.
5.Placement CELL
CEVA provides placement services to MSW & BSW students. We also encourage our partner organizations to give placement to MSW & BSW students.
