Project co-ordination
CEVA is the coordinating agency for Karl Kübel Stiftung in India www.kkstiftung.de . Based on the Project Appraisal & recommendation of CEVA, KKS sanctions rural development projects with an integrative approach focused on the “ poorest of the poor in India”. More than 700 projects are coordinated by CEVA in accordance with the shared vision of KKS and CEVA. Most of the projects funded by KKS, co-ordinated by CEVA, and implemented by various NGO’s are co-financed by BMZ (Federal Ministry for Economic Co-operation and Development), EU (European Union) and other NGOs.
Ongoing Projects
Among the ongoing projects, there are both major and small projects. Major projects are of three or more years duration with an annual budget of not less than Rs.20,00,000 per year. They usually cover a vast area and contain different components.
Small projects are usually of one year duration with an yearly budget of not less than Rs. 10,00,000. The area of the project will be small and the project will usually focus on one component.

Evaluation
CEVA has been facilitating the evaluations of KKS supported projects in India. We have facilitated more than 70 evaluations of KKS supported projects.
Organizing National & International Workshops
CEVA is a co-organizer of many National & International Workshops with KKS. Workshops on Topics like, Child Rights, Child trafficking, Marketing of Agricultural and Non Timber Forest Produces & Monitoring Systems were organized in the past years
Training Personnel for Development Project
Karl Kübel Stiftung and CEVA jointly launched a project called Training Personnel for Development Project (TPDP) in 1994 in order to enhance the quality of the personnel of development project. CEVA was requested by KKS to implement the project TPDP as an initial step until the institutes are established and capable of functioning independently. Through this project CEVA could organize around 250 training programmes. In 2001 TPDP was handed over to KKF, Kochi, as per the agreement between, CEVA & KKS and the training institute namely Karl Kübel Institute for Development Education (KKID) started functioning independently at Coimbatore. CEVA encourages its partners to attend the trainings organized by KKID.
